If you would like to read an excerpt from GANNET 6–and you know you do—Scot Tempesta has posted a chapter at his Rule 69 website, as well as some embarrassingly kind words about me. Well, actually I’m not embarrassed. I’m pleased. It was a nice thing for an old man to wake up to this morning.
I can no longer make changes to the main site, www.inthepresentsea.com, which is now frozen in time, as I will be myself soon enough. Anything more will be added here. Thank you, Christopher. November 14 is indeed the date of publication. I am told that GANNET 6 will be available in all ebook formats and at all ebook sellers, not just Amazon.
i have never met Scot, but in the little tiny world of sailboats, I think he is kind of a rebel, and I am glad he keeps figuring out a way to keep it all relevant. Glad to see he hopped out of the corporate umbrella he got stuck under and started anew. Like SA, Rule69 has few boundaries, so I just ignore the parts I do not like and embrace the fact he's keeping sailing in the mainstream.
