Saint Michaels: impossible

As you can see from the above, the Chesapeake Maritime Museum Small Boat Festival has done the impossible.  It has made me into a big boat owner.
While GANNET is the longest of the four boats, she also has the least freeboard.  What?  Do these people want to stay dry?

This is a short parade of Welsford Pathfinders, both built and sailed by friends.  Closest is Tom Head and FIRST LIGHT.  Farther back Steve Earley and SPARTINA.
Bobby Asher’s Pathfinder, LAGNIAPPE, is now tied to the end of this dock, and I expect more Pathfinders are lurking nearby.

Light fog this morning that provided lovely, soft diffused colors until it was quickly burned off by the sun.
